A New Year, A New You
For a lot of people coming into the new year is exciting and insightful, but for others its stress. I say insightful because we look towards the future to better ourselves from the previous year. Stressful because the resolutions can be far out of reach because we set our goals way to high and sometimes it becomes depressing. I know for myself I have made many resolutions in the past that were never met. Last year I wanted to quit smoking and I did for six months but sadly fell back into my old ways again. Again I am back on too quitting again and so far succeeding but I hold no expectations. Many that smoke can understand where I am coming from on the subject of quitting it is a difficult thing to do, especially if you have been smoking for over ten years. So now that I am back on my way to quitting the tobacco, I also decided to lose weight. For years now it’s been a long time dream of mine never realized. Sure in the past just like smoking I have lost weight and gained weight and so on. This year I wanted it to be different, I wanted to lose the weight and never ever have to worry about it coming back again. I wanted to be able to go to the gym at least three times a week. I’ve been down that gym road before and sure I lost a little bit of weight but then gained it right back even though I was working out doing mostly cardio exercises. Now that I’ve had another child the weight at first went away super fast because I was breastfeeding, only us moms can understand that lol. As soon as I stopped breastfeeding it came back, not all at once but little by little. Saying gaining the weight back was depressing is an understatement, frankly it’s really freaking depressing. I have gotten accustomed to not looking at myself anymore in the mirror which I used to before all this weight gain. Even my sex life has gone down hill, because I lost my confidence and it sucks to say the least. Now its time to get my confidence back and my sex life back on track.
So this year I say no more to all of that and its time to make a change forever. Like I said in the past exercising worked but failed all in the same time. So I got thinking maybe there was a certain diet plan or pill, drink that could be used while exercising. So I started to look into a few different things. First I started to look into a diet plan I already ate with in my calorie limits and watched what I consumed. I just needed to get active again and I wanted to lose at least thirty-five pounds fast, but how was I going to do that. The first site I came across was called Medifast I read over the article which can be found here by clicking on this link http://www.medifast1.com/weight_loss_plan/how-you-lose-weight.jsp?cm_mmc=Paid+Search-_-Google-_-Generic+Search-_-%2Blose%20%2Bweight&gclid=COLy3rfj6bsCFU_NOgod3T8Aag. It is a good diet plan, just not for me but I posted it for those who may be interested. Another one I came across is where they swear to pay you to lose weight. I am not so sure about that one but if anyone is interested in it here is the link. Anything that promises things such as financial gain for your benefit makes think twice, but hey I could be wrong. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=469333909810274&set=a.392480350828964.88784.388157847927881&type=1 your more than welcome to check it out they sound legit. The one I am choosing to go with would have to be the plexus program. A lot of my friends are doing it and I’ve seen major results from them that it has me anxious to start. By major results I mean people who I know of losing over sixty pounds in seven months. I am thinking about starting up a post in the near future, with step by step photos of me shedding of pounds. How great would that be and I have my mind-set on it. One more that I was seriously considering other than plexus, if I chose not to go that route is a system called Roca Labs. The no surgery Gastric bypass drink that is supposed to show very awesome results by shrinking the stomach without harmful surgery. The link for that is here http://rocalabs.com/gastric-bypass-surgery-guide/?gclid=CNf_0-Dv6bsCFdBlOgodCxEAwg it’s for men, women, teenagers and after pregnancy. It’s a pretty interesting thing to look into although it costs quite a bit. The ad suggests that most medical insurance companies qualify to cut half the costs for it especially for teenagers and after pregnancy. I am at a toss-up between the two but I think I’ll go with plexus because it will be fun to document my weight loss step by step. This year will definitely be a big change for me, I hope it will be a big change for you too. Nothing but good things to come for us all in 2014 yay.
However you choose to do your new years resolution. I hope that you meet your goals and find plenty of success in 2014. I thank you all for reading and please feel free to comment or follow me. Hopefully soon I’ll be able to start my documentary of weight loss with you all. Till next time friends thanks for reading 🙂
